I wanted you since the moment I first seen
The fire in your eyes burning those flames
But what people call Love today is obscene.”
I need you like the sun needs to shine upon
Which these writings will be something old
And all that I am that I’ve based my life on
Your smile, your words for me of pure gold
I want you as to want to breathe the air here
And now is to your decision upon what will
Be this story’s end to which I have been there
I’ve found that in life, love and grace still
I burn for you and you are my shining light
